Very elegant aromas of peony and a hint of violet and a great length. The wine is floral and very elegant. It is complex, dense and long, relatively firm with a splendid mid-palate, very pure notes of fresh blackberry. On the palate, the attack is fresh and silky, of great distinction, the wine appears half-bodied, but with astonishing persistence and a lot of density. The finish is dazzling with purity and freshness. A wine that has class and grace.

Bright ruby. Highly perfumed, spice-tinged red and dark berries on the nose; suggestions of smoky minerality and candied flowers build as the wine opens up. Sappy, appealingly sweet raspberry, cherry cola and boysenberry flavors become livelier through the midpalate. Concentrated but lively in character, finishing impressively long and spicy, with interwoven tannins adding gentle closing grip.
