Domaine Henri Rebourseau

Domaine Henri Rebourseau may be one of the next biggest names to watch for. Behind the Domaine is the notable Bouygues family, who also owns Chateau Montrose. Rebourseau employs only traditional cultivation methods, combining 100% organic winegrowing with biodynamic practices. Their quality is highly recognized in Burgundy where top producers had been sourcing finished wines from them. Ever since the acquisition by the Bouygues, the Domaine started to bottle all its great wines under the Rebourseau name, which is becoming one of the most sought-after rising stars with great potential!

The Rebourseau wines are great to drink and to hold. Back in the 1930s, It was already on the list of top wines along with the best producers, including Domaine de la Romanee Conti, the most expensive Burgundy wine in the world.

On Friday, the next generation of Domaine Henri Rebourseau, Mr. Louis de Surrel, will be showcasing the outstanding 2009 vintage, from Village to Grand Cru. While Decanter describes the wines of this vintage as "beautifully ripe and fleshy", the Wine Advocate has rated the vintage 95 out of 100 for the Cote de Nuits appellation.
