As a Classified Growth in Pessac Leognan, the prestigious Chateau Haut Bailly, is an all-time favourite of many wine connoisseurs, given the impressive consistency and quality of their wine. Haut Bailly has been described by Neal Martin as "harmonious, cohesive, focused and sophisticated", while Robert Parker referred it as a "great value" wine being included in his "Magical 20" selection.

The silky elegance and beautiful harmony of the wine are inherited from Mrs. Veronique Sanders, Owner, Director, and the First Lady of Chateau Haut Bailly. Veronique is the 4th generation of the winery, and back in the days, there was practically no woman in the industry. She has not only managed to preserve this precious heritage from her family, but has also brought it up to the next level, opening up the golden era of the Chateau.
